There is a prescribed prairie burn scheduled for Hartmann Park this afternoon. Benefits of a prescribed burn include increasing biodiversity, recycling nutrients, and helping to reduce the spread of invasive and pest species. It is also being burned in preparation for the home of our pollinator garden in Hartmann Park.
