The Chicago RC Model yacht Club is the host club for this year’s Vintage Model Yacht National Championships held September 13-15 at Century Park. This is a free event for spectators and is a great family outing. Some of the model yachts are almost 100 years old and are majestic as they glide across the pond and race around buoys. Different classes (sizes) of boats compete on each of the three days of the event.
