Afterschool Program

Grades Kindergarten through 6th grade
Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Under the supervision of our certified, trained and qualified leadership staff, students have the opportunity to engage in active learning through leadership games, service initiatives, and a progressive reading incentive program. The students also have individual homework time.
Each child will create a personal binder. We will be assisting children in setting personal goals for school and implementing an individual system for each child to help him or her stay organized. Homework help is available each afternoon. The children also have the opportunity to write and draw in their very own journal.
During holidays, as observed by the Vernon Hills Hawthorn School District, the Afterschool Program will be open to registered participants from 6:30 am - 6:00 pm. During half days of school, the program will be open from 11:30 am - 6:00 pm.
Swim lessons are also available for those students enrolled in the Afterschool Program.
